What is the Difference Between Product Liability and Strict Liability?

Product liability laws apply to injury caused by a defective or dangerous product. Under these laws, a product may be considered defective if it causes harm while being used in its intended manner. There are some cases that involve the unconventional use of a product as well, though a majority of product liability claims are the result of poor manufacturing, defective design, and other product defects.
